Again, Steve Lehman Tours, Ltd is excited to offer you this phenomenal opportunity to ride and train in one of the most beautiful locations in the Western Hemisphere. This trip will take you to the Cordoba region of Argentina. Since their seasons are opposite to our’s, their March is like our September with average daytime high temperatures at 75 degrees and evening lows at 60. . . perfect! We will be staying at the Portal del Lago Hotel on San Roque Lake in the resort town of Villa Carlos Paz. This four-star, lake front hotel has three pools, all the amenities you would expect, and is situated in the foothills of the High Sierras just 25 miles west of the historic city of Cordoba.

Our daily rides will be organized and led by local ride leaders and will cover various circuits of between 60 -130 kilometers with options to ride farther if you wish. There will be at least two groups graded in relation to average speed, so that groups are homogeneous with no rider being held back or being continually pressed beyond his or her limit.

Non-cycling guests will have opportunity to enjoy Villa Carlos Paz, explore beautiful Cordoba on the included shopping/ sight- seeing tours and the surrounding Sierras, enjoy varied outdoor activities such as tennis, hiking, sailing or just relaxing at one of the pools. Most activities can be arranged through the hotel.

Organization of rides will be structured and based on a Saturday arrival and departure on the following Saturday. Attendees are invited to extend or shorten their stay but pricing is based on the Saturday to Saturday, seven night stay. Additional days will be priced individually depending on options.

Recoleta is in the center of most major tourist attractions, dining, shopping and nightlife. You’ll be within walking distance of the National Fine Arts Museum with over 10,000 works of art on display by most of the masters. You won’t want to miss the weekend craft market or the Recoleta Cemetery, last resting place of “Evita” Peron and reputed to be the most beautiful cemetery in the world.
